Ascot Vale Eyecare was born from two experienced optometrists seeking to provide independent eye care to their community.
Our goal is to build a practice where both patients and staff feel welcome and comfortable and that promotes the best eye health and visual solutions. We use the latest technology available and offer a beautiful range of frames carefully curated for you.
Rob Nawrocki

Rob began his professional career in 2006 alongside Graeme Wood, and over the following seventeen years, provided eye care to the greater Essendon community.
As a local boy, he attended St Bernard's College, before completing a Bachelor of Optometry at the University of Melbourne. Rob loves the freedoms that come with owning an independent practice - including having the choice of frame and lens suppliers, the ability to choose and support local and sustainable options, access to modern equipment and working in an environment where he can provide continuity of care.
Rob values the relationships that he develops with his patients over time and is driven to provide the best eye care possible to the community. He loves his Dees, Storm, horse racing and is always up for a tip and a chat!
Simone Hibbert

Optometrist, Managing Director
At the age of two, Simone was introduced to the world of eye care due to her personal corrective eye muscle surgery. Without glasses, life would have been challenging for her and she is grateful for the early intervention and care she was provided. Passing on that same level of care to her own patients is what Simone values most.
Growing up in Essendon, Simone attended St Columba’s College and MacRobertson High, before pursuing Optometry at the University of Melbourne.
She has worked in a range of regional and remote practices around Australia and leading peadiatric clinics in Melbourne. Here she has developed her broad skillset to include working with children of all ages. Simone is excited to bring this experience and knowledge back to the suburbs where she grew up!
